I have been looking for a party dress for this Christmas for a while and have exhausted all the high street shops, and ordered other stuff off the internet, with no luck. This dress is perfect! It is a perfect fit, I am a size 10, so ordered a size 10, and I can get my bust in it! That has been the biggest problem with the high street shops, I'm a 34DD and really struggle to get a dress that fits my bust as well as the rest of me. The dress is snug and feels clingy and slinky. Looks exactly like the picture. Superfast delivery, and it's great for the money too. Would happily recommend. Might even buy it in another colour!!!!

A stunning little device
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R2J080XRB55H47 I decided that most of the features of the Kindle are fairly hard to comprehend without seeing them so I decided to create my first video review.

I have tried to cover most of the Kindle's features, like Speech to Text, music, books (of course!), web browsing, notes, pdf's and I have compared it to my Sony PRS-505. Which is not as big a difference as you might expect.

*Please note that I didn't cover newspapers and periodicals on the Kindle in this review as I like those in paper form and don't use the device for this. I browse papers heavily and like to skim back and forth and the Kindle is not ideal for this. I think that is why people might be saying the review is not helpful. I think I covered everything else though!

Overall I adore the Kindle, I am very happy with it and if you'd like to see why please feel free to watch! If you own an e-reader already this may help you decide whether the upgrade is worth it or if you are new to them you can see what the Kindle uniquely offers! Thanks for watching!

Everything I hoped it would be
I hemmed and hawed a lot before ordering the Kindle; my first e-reader. I thought perhaps I'd miss something about the experience of reading a book. Perhaps I'd miss the feel of it, or the smell, or turning the pages. In actual fact, the only thing I miss is being able to re-read the cover and back page when I put it to rest after a long read. There's something satisfying about absorbing the cover and imprinting it on your memory, especially after you finish the last page of a book. Anyway, it's a minor point. In every other detail the Kindle is a superior reading experience.

The weight of the Kindle is a significant factor. A large paperback or hardback can be annoying to read, especially if you're in bed. Remember holding a heavy paperback above you? Or how annoying it is when you lie on your side and one page of the open book is easier to read than the other? Or pinning a book open on the pillow with one hand as you read? Well, all that's out the window. Reading a lightweight e-reader is comfortable and handy and it's almost impossible to lose a page. Need to stop reading for a moment? Just put the Kindle to one side, and when you return it's still there, on the same page. The only time I lose a page is when I grip either side of the device wrongly and turn a page forward or backward unexpectedly; easily resolved though.

I've tried turning pages on other devices. For example, on the iPad there's a page-turning graphic where the page rolls across the screen under your fingertips. Fact: page-turning is NOT the exciting part of reading a book. If you're enjoying a book you don't even notice that you're turning the pages. However, when I tried a different brand of e-reader I was dispapointed at the slowness of the page turns and the way the device seemed to have a fit as the page refreshed. It was distracting. This is not a problem the Kindle suffers from. The page turns are swift and delicate and do not interrupt the reading experience. On top of all this, you've got a crystal clear display and the ability to adjust the font size.

The first book I downloaded and read was "I Shall Wear Midnight" by Terry Pratchett, which had just been published. I found that, just like with a book, you soon forget you're turning pages and you get lost in the story. This is exactly what I hoped for. If the device had intruded into the reading, it would have been a lesser experience than using a book. I hope the day never comes when the Kindle beeps when an email arrives - this device is geared toward reading and I hope it stays that way. At the moment it is unobtrusive and the reading experience is fantastic.

The book browsing and buying experience is good, as expected. It's perfectly fast on WiFi. I haven't really had cause to test the 3G yet. The experimental web-browsing function works quite well on Wikipedia, although is not something I'm particularly interested in on an e-reader. The music plays nicely, and the text-to-voice function is pretty good, although everything sounds like it's being read by Stephen Hawking. However, the quality of the speakers is very good (better, I think, than on my iphone) and so proper audiobooks come across loud and clear. These are certainly interesting features and it doesn't do any harm for them to be there.

There's a free Minesweeper game if you press ALT+SHIFT+M. This is quite a fun 'easter egg', but I wouldn't want to encourage Amazon to detract from the main function of the device: reading. Not sure why there's an unused microphone on the device either. Goodness knows what they're planning. :)

I've had the device running with WiFi turned on for 6 days now and it's just started telling me that the battery is beginning to run low. I'd say there's still about 10% left in it, judging by the little battery symbol. That's impressive, considering I've been using it a lot. I'll probably turn the WiFi off between book purchases in future, though. It's going to be great for holidays.

I've also tried sending a Microsoft Word document by email to the device. It was a fast transfer and the final result was startlingly decent. It was nice seeing it displayed so well on the device.

The pricing of the ebooks is a bit odd; always shifting, and sometimes books disappear from sale (not from the device, though, as far as I know). I've been lead to believe this is because the UK prices are sometimes tied to the US prices. As the exchange rate fluxuates it affects the pricing. There's also some kind of dynamic pricing where Amazon will beat competitors' prices while they're having a sale. I don't know if this is true, but it seems to go some way to explaining why a Stephen King book will be £5 one day and £9 the next. It seems at the moment that there's a lot of significantly discounted bestsellers - which is a Good Thing. :) Hopefully prices will continue to drop as Kindle uptake increases. It certainly seems to be common sense that the saving made by publishers not having to print and distribute books should be passed on to the reader.

Overall, I'm so pleased that the device is as good as the advertising made it out to be. I'm going to start ditching the hundreds of paperbacks that I have in the house as I feel confident that e-readers - and in particular the Kindle - are the way forward.

The most useful purchase since the first generation iPod!!
I preordered my Kindle in mid August and it arrived a couple of days ago (mid September). Eagerly I opened up the Amazon Easy open box (which, as the name suggests, was remarkably easy to open!) and inside was my new Kindle, charger/synch cable and limited instructions (there are more complete instructions on the device).

I had spent a lot of time researching ereaders prior to my purchase but to be honest I was still not prepared for how great the Kindle would look in the flesh. Smaller and lighter than I imagined it just felt right. Also some reviewers had talked about thinking of trying to peel off the actual image on the screen, well I can confirm that even knowing that the thought crossed my mind - The e-ink looks absolutely great.

After plugging it in (not for long) I then switched it on and after setting up the account/wifi etc (I have the 3g and WiFi version but figured I was better using WiFi to start with) I had a look. What a great experience this was, the device is very intuitive and not once did I have to refer to the instruction manual. Some books I had ordered had already appeared and I had a look and first impressions were spot on, easy to move the pages and easy to hold and read.

Since then I have got to know this device and I would like to take you through my early experiences. Firstly prior to ordering it I could not believe the price and how competitive the Kindle 3 is. I had been looking at the Kindle 2 International and Kindle DX and both were well over the price of the Kindle 3. Likewise compare the Kindle 3 with the Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony PRS series and the like and it is very competitive. So the price was convincing. Then the user experience just got better:

The Kindle Store - very easy to use. Very simple to access from the device and you just browse and, if you want to buy and you have set your Amazon account to 1 click ordering then you just select your book and it is straight on your device to read.

The charger/sync cable - Looks really nice and the plug detaches from the USB adapter so that you can plug it straight into your Laptop etc. The upside of this is that it will also charge from any USB enabled adapter or plug, so charging from your car etc will be very easy. Please note one thing that causes confusion. A lot of people refer to the end of the cable that plugs into the Kindle as a standard USB Mini B connection. Please note it is NOT it is a proprietary connection. I had been looking forward to charging with a regular USB to Mini B cable so please don't make the same mistake I did. However it is not a big deal and Amazon are already selling replacement cables on their site.

Screensavers - When the Kindle goes to sleep Artwork and famous historical figures appear on the Kindle. Some people I noticed were moaning about this. Why? They look FANTASTIC, and I love looking to see which one has appeared!
Ergonomics - I find the Kindle excellent to hold. I read a lot in bed and it is really easy for me to grip the Kindle with my thumb hovering over the page turn button so I do not have to move to turn the pages - Way easier than a book and it just works in a seamless, easy and immersive way. To be honest that has been my experience of the Kindle - I don't notice it is there is the same way I do not notice the physical element of a paper book when I am reading it.

Whispernet - Utterly brilliant - If you have purchased the book from Amazon then the page you have ended on synchs across all your devices (Please note you need to go to the Manage my Kindle section of your Amazon account and enable this feature). I have an iPhone, iPad and Laptop enabled with Kindle reading software and it is a brilliant feature. For example I was in the airport and did not want to use my Kindle while I was going to my gate so read some of the book on my iPhone and then on the plane just carried on from the same place with my Kindle (make sure that you turn it on prior to the plane taking off so that it can access Whispernet otherwise it cannot synch the last read page). However note this does not work if you have not purchased the content from the Amazon store.

Newspapers - I have tried a trial Newspaper subscription and it is ok - To be honest navigation is more intuitive on an iPhone/iPad but it is a useful feature - I am not sure if I will continue with a paid subscription though. One thing here that took me a while to figure out that makes moving through the articles easier is that you can instantly move from article using the 5 way control pad (right click to go forward) rather than using the page turn button and having to go through all the article pages before you get to the next one.

Text to Speech -Tried it and it is pretty cool and also a bit weird! I don't listen to many audio books anyway so I don't think I will be using this feature much. Again nice to have though!

MP3 Playback - The rear speakers are surprisingly good and the music sounds good to my admittedly non sophisticated ears. However the fact that you cannot organise your music and the relatively small 4gb storage provided on the kindle means I won't be giving up my iPod any time soon!
Internet - Again your iPhone is more intuitive here on the move and a better experience. However if this is not available to you or you want to avoid roaming charges when out of your service providers country it is a surprisingly useable experience in black and white. Very much in the `Nice to have' box.

Battery life - Excellent. I have not quite managed the 10 days that are mentioned with Wireless always switched on but then again I have been using the Kindle a lot over the last couple of days!

Comics - Hmm, I have tried this with a couple of things. Something like `Calvin and Hobbes' works brilliantly so newspaper cartoons are a definite plus. However I also put on a couple of Batman comics on PDF and these were not great - I could not really zoom properly so changed the viewing mode to landscape (just press the Aa button on the keypad and change it from there) and this just chopped the comic page in half which is not ideal. I think this would be a much better experience if you used the 9.7 inch screen on the DX. This is still going to be in black and white though - Comics are better served by the iPad which leads me to -

iPad vs Kindle - Why does everything I read have these two products as an either or? I am a total Apple devotee, own Mac Laptops and PowerPC, iPhone/pad and plenty of other Apple products and I still think that to be honest they absolutely complement each other. I think if you can, get both! The iPad wins hands down on areas like e-mail, Web Browsing and Comics - Then it should - It is a relatively heavy LCD screen with an Apple A4 processor that does a great job of multitasking. The Kindle does a GREAT job of doing what it does best - reading books! There is no way that I `forget' my iPad is there when I am reading but I do with a Kindle. There is no way that the iPad has a battery life long enough to just leave in the bedside cabinet and read whenever I want, whereas the Kindle does. The Kindle does not make my eyes tired after extended use as the iPad does. Comparison between the amounts of books in the respective Kindle and iBook stores is irrelevant as you can have the Kindle store on the iPad also. However what is relevant is that if you have the 3G kindle you can download books from anywhere without the crazy data prices and initial buy cost of the 3G enabled iPad. The Kindle is dedicated to reading books and it does it better than the iPad full stop - Despite many comments I have seen to the opposite I still think that e-ink is the future for book reading on electrical devices and the Kindle has been the only device where I have thought, wow, I am going to be reading most of my books on this moving forward.
Screen Quality - I am blown away by the Kindle screen and e-ink every time I use it - I think if you have not seen one then you should it just looks superb.

Calibre - This takes the Kindle to a whole new level and simply blew me away. Anyone who has a Kindle really ought to download this brilliant program. It is free (just type Calibre into google etc) and is compatible with Mac and PC. Installation is easy and the program itself just moves the Kindle user experience from the great to the must have purchase that I now believe it is. Calibre allows you to convert and hold all of your previous ebooks or ebooks that you download from free sites like Gutenburg etc into the Kindle Mobi (.azw) file format. Conversion is so simple my gran could do it and even if you cannot manage that then if you try to download it onto the Kindle in the wrong format it will automatically convert it for you! You can also set it up to email your Kindle via your .kindle.com email address (This is set up in the `manage my kindle' section of the Amazon site). Please note if you do not want to be charged by Amazon for doing this set it up to email your free email address (just add free in front of your kindle.com email address) however your Kindle will ONLY download the documents when it on a WiFi network and not over 3g (no great hardship!). In this way if you email books etc from Calibre you do not even have to plug your Kindle into your laptop etc to get new books, so you can either just download from Amazon Kindle store or send from your Calibre program!! The icing on the cake is that you can also set it to automatically (using templates provided on Calibre) set the program to download magazines like Wired etc and e-mail it straight to your Kindle so it is autodelivered without you having to go anywhere near your mac or pc.

I said at the start of this review that the Kindle is the most useful thing I have purchased since my first generation iPod. That was the first time I could take my music library with my properly. Now I can take my books digitally as well. A must have in my book (pardon the pun!).

Review addition: Since reviewing this Kindle someone has kindly pointed out that the synch cable uses is a USB to MICRO USB cable. So whilst I was correct in saying that it is not a USB to Mini USB cable it is not a proprietary cable so there will be third party cables available on the market. Apologies for any confusion.

Karcher T200 Patio Cleaner. It's brilliant.
I am so glad my old pressure washer died as having reviewed what is available now I bought a Karcher machine and was delighted to discover that they make a patio cleaner which incidentally is compatible with all their Karcher pressure washers. (Older models need an adapter I believe).

I have cleaned a large patio area with no bother at all in a fraction of the time I used to take with my old pressure washer without an attachment. No splashback and a good even effect on the cleaned tiles ... it is just like using a floor polisher. It hovers and you could do the whole job one handed if you had a mind to!

I lifted up the cleaner before I moved onto a new area to spray jets of water over the next area to remove debris, then cleaned the tiles and lifted the cleaner again to wash over the area to check the tile was as clean as I wanted. You can avoid the grouting inbetween slabs and so minimise causing the damage often caused by using just a pressure washer without this attachment.

It advises that you can clean stonework/walls with the attachment, and sure enough, all the green 'gunk' came off the bricks without causing any damage.

The price of this gadget varies a lot, so it's worth choosing your supplier carefully.

Karcher pressure washer
Excellent value for money the patio cleaner attachment is fantastic cleans really well and in half the time. I highly recommend this product.

Don't buy anything bigger
I have a large amount of patio of both flagstones and York stone. I was bewildered by the choice of models from Karcher. You would not want anything more powerful and heavy duty than this. It is also amazingly cheap, compact and easy to use. I would be very surprised if anyone was unhappy with this model.

This is very good for the price i paid. Cleaned the whole Garden and front driveway with this product.

Karcher K2.900M Pressure Washer
I had used a pressure washer owned by a neighbour and, impressed by how well it cleaned up stains on tarmac with very little effort, I decided to get one for myself. I chose this Karcher product for the name and the many attachments that are supplied in the pack.

The first thing I noticed about this pressure washer is that it is not hugely powerful (my neighbour's produced a much more powerful jet of water). However, this is good enough to do the things that I want to do although I found that the patio attachment did not perform well (pressure too low to achieve anything).

I mostly use the lance attachment and this produces a jet of water that is powerful enough to remove fence protector over-spill from patio slabs/garden ornaments/tarmac, ground in dirt and it also did rather well when it came to removing an oil spill from the drive.

The cleaning tablets are, in my opinion, an unnecessary expense. Most tasks can be completed using just water and, where something extra is needed, I have found a squirt of washing up liquid directly on the area to be cleaned works just as well.

There are more powerful pressure washers available and they will do the job faster. This is, however a reasonably priced model that will get most jobs done even if it takes a little longer.

Simple but effective
This is not a high-tech machine but it's simple to set up, is light-weight, easy to use, is inexpensive and does the job. It's basically a bucket on wheels with a motor housed in the clip-on lid that enables one to suck up wet or dry material through a long hose. It's only draw-back is it's noisy, but ear muffs cancelled out the decibels. It doesn't have a big capacity for sucking up water but an automatic cut-out stops it over-filling. It's just the job for mopping up leakages from appliances or radiators or quickly sucking up spilled liquids from a carpet.

sadly i've just had to package this up and return it. it worked fine as a dry vacuum cleaner, but when i used it to mop up water (having first, very wetly, washed the kitchen floor) it worked fine for a few minutes, then began to leak out rather more water than it was sucking up! it leaked the water out round the motor/lid. the instructions said, switch off immediately if that happened... so i did. i checked (several times) that the lid was correctly housed and clipped tight, but it wasn't there that the leak was happening, it was around the motor part. also, there wasn't much water in the drum, so it wasn't an overflow as such. it's a shame, because apart from that it seemed a nice, basic cleaner. no frills, only a short lead (slightly annoying), no ball bearings to swivel the tubes, nor a retractable lead - but it did ok, to begin with. however, i need it to mop up floodwater, and it has to be reliable. and this... certainly wasn't. perhaps it was just a one-off, but i'm going for a refund. maybe you get what you pay for?

An excellent product,this 1400 watt baby Bosch was easily as powerful as the 1700 watt karcher it replaced.It feels well built (in Italy) and the 6kg weight means it does'nt topple over.It comes with 3 different heads.A standard fan-jet,which is adjustable from wide to pencil.a roto-head,which is a sort of rotating pencil and my favorite the flexi-jet, whereby water comes out at 45'degrees meaning you can clean conservatory roofs or under cars or just at a sort of chisel angle on patios (u can set the angle).This machine is more than powerful enough for normal car and garden cleaning and in reasonable time frames aswell.In no way gimmicky like the £30 chain store specials this is better than entry level.I bought this on spec hoping that Bosch would come good on their reputation.They did and im very happy with my purchase!

For the price I can't say anything bad about it. It works well and has enough pressure to chip the paint of yoyr car.
I bought this to clean my bins and car. It always work with full pressure and don't use full pressure to wash your car, use wide spray when whashing the car.

Good buy

A Great Cleaner
This item has had a lot of use, cleaning a very dirty and marked patio and drive. This is not one of the more powerful washers, but has cleaned everything I have used it on, from the car to paving slabs and bricks. Like most Bosch products it is well made, functional and does what you expect. Do not know how I managed without it.

Quick, light, very easy and practical.
I've only used those rubbish gazebos that take hours to set up and after once use, the poles get bent. So I was unsure if this gazebo would fair any better. I was very pleasantly surprised. The instructions weren't too clear, but after working it out, it was a straightforward to set up - and best with two people, but not essential. We had it over our decking area, just fits, and we screwed the feet directly on the deck, there are some spikes (provided) if used on grass, as well as rope to tie it to an anchor. If you have this on a stone surface, you'll need to weigh the feet - which is an additional accessory - not supplied. Wind is the biggest worry with any gazebo, and as this is a fairly big one, we always secure it well. The sides are also easy to attach. Putting away, again is easy (once you get the hang of it) I do it on my own. Best to make sure you do it gently. And packing away in the supplied bag is a one man job too. White is a good colour, but long term, I feel it would have been better to have the green for scuffs etc. Overall, for the money, you have a great product. No complaints. My neighbours and in-laws have asked to borrow it for a few functions in the future. Me thinks I can make some money on the side by hiring it out each weekend. RECOMMENDED.

DON'T BOTHER!
I have just used it for the third time, first this year, and having secured it fully, a gust of wind has lifted it off it's feet which broke off the extending legs, leaving the whole thing wrapped around a tree in the garden and rendering it completely useless. It wasn't particularly windy, therefore suggest that should you intend to purchase anything similar, NEVER leave unattended as it could prove expensive!

Red expensive Gazebo
Not very impressed with this product. We bought it in a hurry. It only has one really big wall that went all the way round, but only giving three sides of walling. This is really impractical. Also, it has little fiddly ties instead of velcro. Thirdly, it doesn't come with a bag. It's really expensive but the cheaper ones are better.

Flite Backlash II BMX
Brilliant value for money a must for any child that wants a decent BMX. I ordered this bike on a Sunday, and I received on the following Monday so very happy there. I checked the box and all parts were there. I spent about an hour on Christmas eve building it and making sure it was all safe for the wee man.

This bike not only looks good, it does everything you`d expect, even gives High end BMX`s a run for their money. Its quite light, has metal stunt pegs, and you can easily freely spin the handlebars 360 degrees and more(for certain stunts) without the worry of brake cables getting caught, thanks to its 360 gyroscopic forks.

Again, I can`t praise this bike enough, glad I got this than a slightly more expensive one I saw in a well known shop that rhymes with Salfords :P

A very nice little garden swing.
My goodness, a reasonably priced 2-seater all wood swing. Looks really, really good and is comfortable.

Came as a flat pack: needs two people to set up but all bolts etc... are there plus enough hex keys for two people. Took my wife and I about 90-minutes - not too bad. Only additional tool required was a spanner. If you've done any kind of flatpack furniture in the past, this will not tax you.

The canopy is only a sun shade, it isn't water proof. However, it fits really nicely and has lots of velcro fixings to keep it in place.

Quality is pretty good and as long as you regularly oil the wood, it should last well.

Nokia E52 user experience
The Nokia E52 is nice looking a recent addition to the UK Nokia Smartphone range.

The phone is a typical candy-bar layout with reasonable size keys making it easy to use. The screen is well organised and clear but in bright light contrast can be poor. The phone is geared towards business use with one-touch key access to organiser, e-mail, internet, Bluetooth and a host of other functions. Menu shortcuts are user-configurable allowing you to put your favourite features within a couple of key presses.

The phone is quad band, 3G data and Wi-Fi enabled allowing e-mail, internet and VoIP applications to work via mobile phone networks and over (free)Wi-Fi connection. Once the correct settings are entered, switches between mobile data and Wi-Fi when in range of an access point.

E-mail set-up proved a bit awkward as it was not initially possible to enter settings from the handset. An e-mail setup wizard automatically connects to Nokia site and downloads various settings. It failed to configure the basic e-mail account. Unfortuantly this has to complete before you can edit any settings.
On the Nokia business website 'Nokia Configuration Tool' is available, which allows settings to be manually entered. Once entered you can edit settings from the handset!
Battery life managed about 10 days using GSM only before a recharge was needed. The actual battery life seems a bit short compared to the spec, but long periods were spent with the screen illuminated whilst exploring the phone's many functions.

From my experience, the first UK release of this phone seems to have some software issues. Running v021.013 (as of 01/10/2009) I had several random lock-ups and re-starts soon after using the product. This finally resulted in the phone completely locking up and being unable to re-start even after removing battery. Corrupted software rendered the handset completely unusable after a couple of weeks. Several forums mention similar problems.

Nokia replaced the phone without quibble under their 2 year warranty. The
replacement also running software v021.013 has so far worked ok. As of
03/11/2009, software v022.009 is released. This seems stable.

Overall, my experience of this phone has been slightly disappointing.
On paper the phone has a lot of nice features and I would cautiously recommend it but my advice is wait for the next software update and the product to become widely available through the major phone networks.

Detailed spec and more info is available on the Nokia website. Purchase from a reputable dealer or direct from Nokia who will honour the 2-year warranty.

Unreliable
I was initially very pleased with the phone, easy to use, good size screen, excellent features and battery life. First impressions were good and I would have recommended it highly.

I got my phone in October 2009 however within a couple of weeks I was finding that the phone was switched off in the morning which was odd.

Over the next couple of weeks the phone started "crashing" where the screen just goes blank while creating a text message or browsing the internet. As time went on the phone became more reluctant to switch back on afterwards. It has now reached a stage 8 weeks after purchase where it will not switch on at all. Not what I would expect from Nokia.

Overall a Great Phone at a Reasonable Price
The phone has all the features you could ask for, including an amazing battery life, packed in a stylish slim phone design. The raised buttons around the navigation button mean you can easily press them by accident. However that is my only complaint.

Lovely bag - soft leather but has a minor irritation
Bought this last week from Amozon - super fast delivery. Lovely bag and soft leather but robust. My only issue is the strap which is a tougher quality leather. This is fine but it doesn't half have a strong smell! Am sure it will dissipate but a bit off putting at first. Overall a decent buy though. Will see how robust it is in due course but so far the zips etc look fine and strong.

Just what I wanted!
Ordered them very late on Monday night and received them on the Wednesday! looked in all the retail stores and could find nothing like what I was after and came across these boots on Amazon.I bought the black ones - they are very comfortable and really do look like leather - and a brilliant price too!They look much more expensive than they are.

Good value for money
Having not bought non-leather boots before, I was a bit worried as to the quality of the product. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They do feel softer than real leather but were very comfortable to wear and look like the real thing. You do need to wear them with your jeans tucked in I think - I'm not sure whether they would look quite so good with a skirt, only because they are slightly loose for me around the top of the boot. I can imagine they will also crease at the top part of the foot over time due to the softness, but then alot of boots do that anyway. I'm sure I'll be wearing them alot this winter.

Small calf size.
These boots look fine but the calf size is not that big. I dont think they "adjust" to any bigger than about 14/15 inches due to the fact that the zip stops a few inches short of the actual adjustable bit.

During the summer had to buy a new gas BBQ. I opted for the B&Q Kansas 4 burner version. Unfortunately this did not come with a cover nor was there a purpose made cover available. I bought a cover which was quite flimsy and in fact during the summer the sun rotted this green PVC? one from B&Q. I have now purchased the AWT 3/4 burner cover.This is a truly robust heavy duty cover and fits my B&Q Kansas 4 burner BBQ perfectly. I recommend this cover to anyone who has a B&Q Kansas BBQ, well worth the money and it was quick delivery.

This is a good quality BBQ cover but for these Slemcka models it is too short in its Height dimension and does not reach the bottom plinth of the appliance and therefore cannot completely seal off the bottom portion of the BBQ from the elements. It should be revised to be 15cm longer.

Useful addition for outdoor cooking
Never having used these canisters before, I found that one canister did not last as long as I had anticipated. As the cost of bottled gas is now so high, using separate canisters is probably not too much more than using bottled gas. The convenience factor of using a compact, lightweight cooking stove far outweighs any disadvantages for ad hoc cooking & BBQs. May not be the best option though for long holidays, cooking for a long periods of time or large quantities of food.

The Beginner's Guide
I'm going to aim this review at people who have never really played video games before or who have only had a passing interest, as I think there may be quite a lot of you who are considering, or actively trying your best in, purchasing a Wii. If you are a more experienced gamer, you may find another review more helpful.

Basically you take the Wii home, get it out of the box, plug it into your TV and into the mains just like a DVD player, and then plug the 'sensor bar' into the Wii unit. You then place this same sensor either on top of or just underneath your television. The sensor bar is basically a long, slim grey piece of rectangular plastic with a cable running out to plug it into the Wii.

You then put some batteries into your 'Wii-mote' (Wii remote, included with the Wii console), and use it to turn the unit on. Of course, you're going to need a game to play. The Wii uses a disc format the same size and shape as a DVD; you just slot these into the unit. To get you started, Nintendo includes a game disc with the machine called 'Wii Sports'. This features Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing. To actually play the games, you'll have to go through a few menus. Just use the Wii-mote by simply pointing at a particular point on your TV screen and clicking the buttons (the Wii-mote is kind of half-way between a computer mouse and a TV remote - but so much more).

It's when you actually get into the game that the fun begins. You don't just sit there pressing a series of buttons like with most video game consoles. Yes, you will probably have to push or hold one or two buttons, but the real idea here is that you move the remote around, and the sensor bar (which I told you about earlier) does the rest. The sensor bar can tell the Wii the place on the television screen where you are pointing the remote - but it also tells the machine exactly *how* you move the remote. Basically, motion sensitivity! What this means is that to play golf you hold the remote like a golf club, and take a swing; and hey presto, your on-screen character hits the golf ball with just as much power, lift and spin as you put in. There is some very well developed technology at work here!

Tennis is much the same: swing the remote like you would a tennis racquet. In bowling you hold the remote as if it were a ball and 'throw' it (you don't actually let go of it!). Each different game makes subtly different use of the remote, and there are loads available to buy: from one called Zelda where you get to sword-fight using the remote; to Wii Play which features a number of fun games; and of course, Wii Fit...but that's another review.

I can testify that this is fun for everyone, from age 3 to 63 or older. Nintendo have been sorting out supply difficulties so it's generally now much easier to get your hands on one. Reflections after 2 months of ownership
It's rare to spend £200 and not to have a moment's regret, but the Wii has been the exception for me. From the moment I set it up, it's really earned its keep in our house. The kids love it and so do I. Here's why...

1. The included Wii Sports game is extraordinary, surely the best first person sports sim on any platform. The novel control method is utterly intuitive and I've never played a computer game requiring so much physical exertion.

2. The wireless network took seconds to configure. I wish my last laptop had been so easy.

3. With the addition of games like Wii Play, Mario Party and the like, my five-year-old can compete on equal terms with the older children and with adults.

4. I still want to play Wii Sports every day.

I recommend this console unhesitatingly.

New-gen levels the playing field!
OK, so it's not a "serious" gaming machine. If I want to play Call Of Duty 3, I'll play it on my Xbox 360. If I want HD graphics, and an online multiplayer experience, then ditto.
But sometimes, you know the times, when all you want to do is have some fun, there is nothing like the Wii. The greatest thing about it, is of course, the control system, which completely levels the playing field, and rightly so. I'm a semi-serious gamer, but when I first played Wii Bowling with my 4-year old daughter, she kicked my ass. I had to learn how to bowl. When it came to Tennis, I had to time my swing, apply power, spin, loft, instead of "pressing A". When it came to Baseball, I had to perfect fastballs, pitching speed, time my swing, get the angle of the bat right. And this was just from playing 3 of the 5 Wii Sports games.

It's fun! Anyone can play! Anyone can be good at it, most are bad! More importantly, it brings the room together! Everyone wants to play this thing, people see it and want to have a go. How many video games consoles can you say that about?

Apart from the superb retail games (Wii Play and Warioware are highly recommended by the way), the Wii Shop channel allows you to download great games from Nintendo and Sega's past. So far I have bought Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Sonic, Altered Beast, Super Mario Brothers, Mario Kart 64 and Golden Axe, all games I loved as a child. I love the Xbox Live Arcade, but it's very hit and miss. The Wii Shop Channel is hit after hit.

We have found the Weather Channel extremely useful on numerous occasions, especially for 5-day forecasts. The News Channel is particularly informative and well presented. The Internet Channel is excellent, and saves us having to boot up the laptop or PC for quick enquiries. The Photo Channel is fun, if a little shallow (but it's all about fun, remember...)

Lastly, we come to the Mii Channel, which is one of the most addictive pastimes going. Creating Mii's will soon take over the world, I am sure of it. I have created everyone I know, they are all there, meandering around my Mii plaza, bumping into each other, each one exaggerated in their own special ways, and the fact that they pop up in and around your games is a great touch. FYI, I have now taken to creating famous people, which is kind of odd... My John Lennon is particularly impressive

It's not going to set the world on fire when it comes to graphics, but if you want a superb, fun, addictive, thoroughly enjoyable experience, that EVERYONE will love, then trust me, get one of these!

Best FIFA yet = yes, Best football game yet = not so sure
I have never been an overly big fan of the FIFA series, and would always laugh and joke about it being sub-standard and poor back in the PS1 and PS2 days. But these days EA have completely revamped it from back then. When playing the full game (and not the demo as per some of these reviews) it is noticeably a tighter game. What I mean by that, is more realistic. It looks and plays a lot better than every other FIFA game. I am not too sure on how many differences there are from 09. Not many that I can see in the presentation which is nearly identical to the last 2 games. The music has changed, and have to say for the 1st time ever in a FIFA game I dont like it. Too out there and weird for my tastes. However, thats a very small negative. The presentation, other than the fact it is identical to FIFA 09 is very good. Why change what is not broken. The graphics for the most part are very good, although some of the player likenesses are a bit shabby and look neanderthal like. The commentary from Sky Sports' Martin Tyler and Andy Gray is superb, and the atmosphere in game is also a very good improvement. When you score a a goal away from home you dont hear that many people, which is a nice touch. The playability and controls have been improved too to increase the more realism in dribbling and tackling and pulling of shirts. The difficulty curve is also better this year.
There are still too many negatives for FIFA 10 for me to give it 5 stars. Most of them may be regarded as 'silly little things' but hey, thats me. Such as inability to change captains mid-game. Why not?! Also the goalkeeper kits for lower levels teams are not accurate for whatever reason. Again. All in all though, its a superb game and I like it a lot, its just a shame that whilst EA have worked hard to improve certain areas, others have been completely over-looked. Now lets see how PES 2010 compares.

FIFA 10: Re-defined, not re-designed!
Its becoming harder and harder for EA to improve the FIFA series since theirs only so much you can add. And now that they've thankfully stopped adding silly new features which used to sell the product (remember 'Off The Ball Control'?...), they've found the time to make an already great game more realistic through simple improvements - not massive additions.

The most immediate of these is the brand new 360-degree player control which adds a whole new dimension to the game which, I must confess previously, didn't trust the hype. What makes this 360 movement unique for the simulation is that the computer players can now move about in any single direction they like. For over a decade, those mindless CPU players seem to have been stuck on a grid of Left, Right, Up, Down. Its now a thing of the past! Controlling your own players with the 360 movement does indeed take some time to get used to - not for the fact its difficult, but so you can achieve the best out of the new control.

This addition under-pins plenty of others. With 360 control comes a whole host of new animations for Jostling (when being shoulder barged), for controlling the ball, which the FIFA players now seem comfortable to control on any part of their body, whereas in previous games I've noticed players don't like heading balls down or using their thighs. Running animations have been spectacularly improved to a degree were each player as a unique way of striding - also noticeably the way in which players intercept the ball, where they can stretch out and control the ball with the outside of their feet, perfect for wingers. The goalkeepers too benefit new animations from the 360 movement, and look less like robots and more like athletic... Well, men!

With all this though comes the challenge element of gameplay, which has been vastly raised as a benchmark. Stepping into the game on Professional difficulty was surprisingly too much even as an avid player, and I was required to go back to basics with Amateur mode. This isn't a flaw - its an improvement, as the gameplay has so much variety that you will be back on your feet jumping when you do score that winning goal. And with better ball physics and more realistic shot movement, your goals look spectacular, average or plain jammy!

Manager Mode has a cleaner interface with an apparent improved transfers foundation, which may be the case as Wigan no longer offer me £35 million for Wayne Rooney. Tactics remain the same, though their is the option to manage your set-pieces which, although is nice, doesn't offer too much effect unless you really plan it well anyway during gameplay. Finance is a lot more realistic, and you'll be encouraged to spend wiser which was definitely needed.

Theirs a whole host of options carried on from FIFA 09, some of which have been greatly improved, but I'd like to think that just nit-picking at the above is in-definitely enough a reason to buy this game. EA have made the right choice of going to the community and asking for what we want; not telling us what were going to have. For this reason, FIFA 10 feels more dramatic and realistic then any title before it and I advise you to get it... Now!

Very Very Exciting. 50 Key Improvements on FIFA 09
I 'Converted' football game religion when FIFA 08 was released and blew Pro Evo out of the water. Despite this, every year I evaluate both games and decide which to buy. FIFA 10 boasts no less than 50 improvements on the 25 time award winning FIFA 09. For those who argue that FIFA 10 does not bring significant improvements, here is a list of what EA has announced with a few secrets left for release:

*Manager Mode

-Transfer System- Buying players is now a two staged procedure. First you negotiate the clubs fee and if that is decided you secondly have to negotiate personal terms with the player. The player will decide this on various factors: chance of European football as well as the likelihood of first team football and thus money is not the monopolising factor. This means deals can fall through in true 'Peter Crouch-to-Sunderland' style!

-You have two separate budgets: Wage Budget and Club (Transfer Fee)
Budget to manage.

-There is now a Board Difficulty Setting, the higher the difficulty the quicker you get sacked.

-You no longer have to wait a year to get rid of bad transfers, just until the next transfer window.

-Real Player Growth- there's no more random players getting up to 99 stats. Only the best progress to world class status and this is only based on their success on the pitch.

-Fictional youth players now have largely regional names so there's no more Bruce Smith from Brazil or Rodrigo Luiz Navarro from England.

-New 'Total Football '- news from around the Manager Mode world is visible in true Sky Sports News style including player transfers, fixtures and foreign results.

-Live Season in Manager Mode- player form (in Manager Mode) affects your player's stats week by week. After a bad run of form, your player could go from 85 to 75 and thus will not perform as well.

-New Assistant Manager- he advises what line up you should pick and whether to rotate the clubs squad based on the importance of the game and up and coming fixtures. He also organises the new Pre Season fixtures.

-Other teams also rotate and adjust their squad based on the importance of the game and up and coming fixtures.

-There is a new 'Set Piece Creator' which enables you to create and edit movement in the box in the new 'Practice Arena' and then save it so that you can use the D-Pad to implement them in real match situations.

-Based on your team's region, throughout the season the weather will change. So expect muddy wet winters battling for Championship survival if you're managing Newcastle!

-More authentic CPU transfers so there's no more Cesc Fabregases going to Wolves for £52 million!

-Kit numbers can be changed again!

*Other Improvements

-360 degree dribbling and skilled dribbling so that more gifted players can skip past defenders on the wing.

-More intelligent goalkeeping but also more penalties given away by goalkeepers in one on one situations and keepers can be red carded.

-Intelligent gameplay- players now avoid passes not intended for them, avoid blocking team mates' shots and defenders throw their bodies in the way of shots.

-Improved shooting- you can drive shots as well as the classic R1 controlled top corner curlers.

-New game realism- FIFA 10 is faster than FIFA 08 but slower than FIFA 09

-On line improvements means that games should be almost as fluid as off line exhibitions.

-No stupid goals direct from kick off

-More intelligent advantage and 'Interference Rule' offsides

The best way to analyse a game is to wait and play the demo but if you enjoyed FIFA 09 but wished for a more in depth and realistic manager mode then it sounds like you are in for a treat! Equally, if you enjoy two player or on line gaming, there are enough improvements to warrant the new game with all of this summer's new transfers. And as an added bonus, a varied soundtrack features The Enemy, Passion Pit, Royksopp, Tommy Sparks and Wyclef Jean!

Well, I've had my Wii Fit for a week now and I'm still as hooked. Infact, as you unlock more features the more you use it, I'm even MORE impressed than I was when I got it, and that's saying something!

If you are considering the Wii Fit because you want to lose some weight, or tone up, or improve your fitness, then I can say without fear that this WILL provide you with all you need to achieve your goal. Whatever your current activity level, Wii Fit has something to help you improve.

I was concerned that perhaps this would be a 'token gesture' of a fitness game. It isn't. This is the real thing and Nintendo should be congratulated on not just throwing out a quick fitness gimmick, but on taking the time to really cover all aspects of fitness.

Not only have I used this every day, but I wake up looking forward to my next shot! I spend time working on my posture and balance - which is built into some great games but which are also very insightful, and a bit of an eyeopener. The Balance Board is so well created that, in seconds, it was able to tell a friend of mine that he slouches, has terrible posture, and explained exactly what he was doing wrong, and how he could correct it. It was absolutely bang on.

I then spend time doing some aerobic activity, like jogging, hula hoops (great for the hips, thighs, and bum), and step dance. This lot will have you sweating every bit as much as a trip to the gym. But it's great fun too!

I can then spend some time on toning up with the help of my personal trainer. And to cool down, I do some yoga... something I have never even considered before but which I'm enjoying. The board is so sensitive that it really ensures you achieve the correct technique.

This is a real workout, every bit as productive as a trip to the gym. I have a gym membership and, when I manage to drag myself up there, I do enjoy it. The problem is I don't drag myself up there enough. Maybe I've only a couple of hours before I start work; maybe it's rush hour and I can't be bothered getting stuck in traffic; maybe it's raining. There's always a reason not to go.

The beauty of Wii Fit is it's waiting for you, right in your livingroom, whenever you want it. It's fun, it's inventive, it's personal and gives real time feedback. Forget the gym. Forget your workout video. Wii Fit WILL get you into shape, and you'll love every second!

Getting fit at last is fun!!
Having tried gym membership several times over the years with the best of intentions I can honestly say this is so much more fun! I must admit I have concentrated more on the "fun" aerobic & balance exercises and haven't tried out yoga at all yet. The muscle strengthening exercises are even interesting as you endevour to keep your balance in the correct place ....which also helps to ensure you do the exercise properly.

Hula hoops certainly works the abdo muscles ( ones I didn't know I had !!) and the step routine is just like the real thing ( and I still go the wrong way.)
If you can ski the slalom brings back memories of winter holidays... and my husband who can't ski, skiied it just like beginners do by trying to turn with his shoulders !! The running you would think is a a gimmick but it is so much easier running on your lounge floor after a little Mii and being overtaken by dogs !! I even found myself waving at spectators on the grass (well they waved at me first!!) And every now & then something happens to make you laugh ...like being overtaken by another mii who then promptly falls flat on his face.

All in all ..... great fun and a good aid to fitness for the unfit & the over 40's who don't what to compete in the gym but don't want to turn to seed either !!

Get it ..... you won't regret it

Reviewed after owning for 6 months
I thought it wise to wait until my Wii Fit was given a fair amount of time to "bed in" before writing a review. I don't have gym membership, I'm overweight and underfit. I have now had the board for roughly six months and have used it fairly extensively and therefore feel ready to talk about it!

The first few honeymoon weeks are great. Particularly if you have a step counter and trying to do the old "10,000 steps a day" thing. I enjoy the step aerobics and get plenty of flatulence in the yoga poses. The balance games feel like there not doing much use until you start improving and realise that your posture is also subconciously improving. The balance board is not too large and if you chuck away your bathroom scales then hey presto, you have a space to put your wii fit board. You can chose between a nice deep husky male trainer or a softly spoken lady and both have nice ENGLISH accents. The boxing is very satisfying and my arms really ache the next day so it must be helping my baggy bits.

Unfortunately the honeymoon period is now over and we are starting to go our separate ways. My love affair with my wii fit has gone sour and I'm starting to nitpick and point out to it all the things that get on my nerves which are:

- There is no warm up exercise routine, it's just suggested that you "warm up before doing aerobic activity" so if you're a little rusty you get tempted

Improvements all round, but still a tricky price (Actual Owner)
After pre-ordering my Playstation 3 Slim a month ago, I managed to pick it up today which was a relief. I previously owned the 80GB "fat" Playstation since December '08, but had nothing but trouble with it - three breakdowns, three refurb machines in replacement. It's no secret that the original 60GB models obviously contain better quality components (when Sony were still losing profit).

The first thing you'll notice with this new model is the much smaller packaging, which I believe is a good move in itself as ridiculously large boxing only harms the environment through many different ways in transportation. The contents, however, is still exactly the same as the previous generation Playstation 3. In the box is;

- The console
- 1 x Control Pad (could be me, but it feels like it has a much more matte surface layer)
- 1 x USB cable
- 1 x Scart cable
- 1 x Scart block
- Power Cable (Now a 'kettle' lead thankfully, due to the lower power consumption)
- Manual and leaflets

Whats struck me with this new machine is that the pictures you'll see of it do the console absolutely no justice - it's absolutely beautiful. While it's so much thinner, the surface area remains about the same, so the console has an almost 'squashed' look about it. The 'cut out' effect used near the disc drive gives the console a much simpler look that, to me, is more eye catching under the TV, and the reduction of exterior components gives it a neater slab look. Once in operation, the fan noise is a tad quieter, but this depends on what you're doing. Remember how even when the old fat Playstation 3's could whirl up even when idle? This seems to have been eradicated, and it's now almost silent when just sitting there. Naturally, the fans will whirl up during intense operations, but such situations reveal a quieter fan all round which is very pleasing.

The simplicity of the construction works well all round, the Playstation logo no longer on a joint, but as a nice silver badge. The buttons are no longer touch-sensitive, but to be frank I never understood why a games console needs touch-buttons (they only left finger marks anyway). They are instead click-buttons that give a nice back-light glow when in operation. All the LED lights remain, though the power and disc (green/red and blue) lights are now smaller and directly above each button. In operation, it looks a hell of a lot of smarter.

One talking point has been the HDD. Is it replaceable? Yes - but it's hidden very well under the optical disc drive. A flap underneath the console reveals the blue screw that, in turn, allows the HDD to be pulled out of it's bay in front of the console. The original 2 x USB ports, HDMI, Scart out, Opitcal Audio out and ethernet in are still there too.

System version 3.00 has seen much talk over the past few weeks, and it was to my disappointment that after Sony promised it would be installed ready on the console, it wasn't. Since the software was released on this very release day, I guess it's no big deal, but it's a bit tedious to download when Sony did promise it would be installed. The new operating system, however, is a joy to use and picks up on many flaws of the old whilst adding new fantastic features, such as a dedicated BBC iPlayer program. The friends list is 10 times clearer too, but you'll notice plenty of little changes along the way.

Blu-Rays discs certainly transformed the way we watch films in this house. Although we started buying them with out 80GB model, this slim version still provides the fantastic interface and options for playback. We own a 27" wide TV, and the results are fantastic - it's just such a shame that standard definition DVD's are, relatively, in a mid life cycle. What's most appreciative about the technology is that some of the older films we've bought (upscaled to HD using original cinema film) provide a whole new experience. 2001: Space Odyssey looks like it was filmed yesterday, while Disney Blu-Rays provide beautifully flawless artwork - almost as if they were modelled on a computer.

Finally, games. I'll get to the point - I'm not a "hardcore" gamer (the apparent term for considering it a hobby), but the reason I originally got the Playstation 3 was because of the wide range of fun titles I could just pick up and play with the family - both on disc from the shop, or even better, for download. The graphical output is exactly the same as the Xbox 360 from what I've seen, though to be fair I couldn't care less.

If you're new to the Playstation 3, then I'll just point out that their is NO HDMI cable included in the box. If you want to use the console in HD, you will need a HDMI cable separately. If you've owned a Playstation 3 before however, then I'd just like to point out some very important things. Firstly, back-up your PS1 game data individually (Press triangle above the save file, then Copy), because the Back-up utility for some strange reason doesn't copy the files. Secondly, do the same for your original Playstation 3 game saves - the only thing that the Back-up utility actually stores is your music, photo's, videos, and depending on the update files, some PS3 game saves. Any downloads/game update files will need to be re-downloaded.

So why not 5 Stars? It all comes to down to the price. Whilst I'm a firm believer that for a Blu-Ray player and a games console that utilises this very technology is a bargain at this price, not everyone is comfortable paying this, which is understandable. And for the price, it would have been nice if Sony learnt from Microsoft and included cheap essentials, such as a HDMI cable, an ethernet cable, or even both. Instead, such accessories as the official headset, remote control, or keypad remain expensive extras which I feel is wrong. But if you accept that you're getting two pieces of technology which quite easily transform your entertainment, then you'll appreciate this is a wonderful machine that's now in better shape (excuse the pun) than ever.

Slim
PS3 slim installed below TV and I for one like the look of the new machine. The Slim is much smaller, the pics don't do it justice. The matt finish is different but I always thought the glossy finish of the old model was tacky and a pain to keep clean. Click buttons not a problem to me either. As for the noise reduction I'm not sure, the old PS3 was so much quieter than the 360 next to it that it never detracted from games or movies. Overall very pleased with update!

Some information for those considering making a pre-order
Some details about the new slim from a variety of sources on the web :)

* This Playstation 3 has a 120gb hard drive (compared to the current PS3 which has 80GB).
* This Playstation has a matt finish, and is rough to touch compared to the smooth, shiny but finger print magnet finish of the current 80gb model.
* There are no "touch buttons" , the two buttons are now physical buttons and make a click when you press them. (Eject and Power button).

* The PS logo cannot be rotated anymore (the one near the drive, for those who want to make it stand vertical.)
* You will lose the option to install another Operating System.
* You will need a separate vertical stand, if you want it to stand vertically. (Coming soon).
* There are fewer vents, compared to the 80gb, which has one side dedicated to being a vent, so this new slim model is quieter and runs cooler.

* The drive is louder than the current 80gb model, but not to the point where you hate the device or something. This is believed to be because of a cheaper drive being used (speculation from reporters). However the Playstation runs quieter in general - when the drive isn't in use.
* For those with Bravia TV's this now supports Bravia Sync.
* It's the same as the 80gb model (lacks card readers and playstation2 support).
* It will ship with firmware 3 (firmware for other PS3 users will be released on September 1st).

It's basically a more affordable Playstation 3. Hope this helps making your preorder :)

I have only used the gun once since I purchased but found it very easy to manage and adjust spray to required effect. Very good

using with decking oil was slightly messy.after use it was very time consuming to clean.I obtained good results where coverage was the most important but overspray wasted oil.I have not used it for oil or water based paint yet but unless used for larger areas cleaning could prohibit use.

Cheap and Good
Its cheap and when i got it. It even looked better and tried it. it has a good strong air pressure. all i can say is it worth if you really can utilise it

Superb Powerful Pressure Washer
Superb machine, Works very well. No stoppages and run for 2hrs with no problems and powerful water jet. Cleared driveway full of sand and rubbish in no time. 10/10. Easy to setup and use.
You won't be with out it.

Great product but storing it is a pain.
For its price this pressure washer really packs a punch. The thing that lets it down is the fact that you can't really store the power cord easily (a retractable cord like most vacuums would have been ideal) nor can you store the hose so these parts tend to flap around when carrying it about.
But the many attachments and soap area make this washer the one to get if you're on a budget.

I have spent ages looking for an adapter to fit the included accessories to the lance, that come with the unit.There was no instuctions on how these attach or what part you need to get. Can someone help me please?

Well, the picture looks like a genuine SanDisk adapter, but what I received was stamped with NewDisk on the body of the adapter and had a white label that bore no resemblance to the one in the picture. I sent some pictures of it to SanDisk and they told me it was definitely NOT a SanDisk product, and that I should ask for a refund. Amazon are, rather strangely, refusing to accept that it is a fake. Who would you believe?

I bought this adapter for a PC slot in my car stereo system to store music for playing. It is good & does the job very well along with a CF card. However I have fornd that I can only store music on a 1GB CF card to use with the adapter. Anything bigger does not work.

Small, Fast, and plenty of storage
SanDisk make great flashdrives, as they have some of the quickest write and read speed on the market. This one currently goes over twice the speed of my other flashdrive I use. It makes transferring large files or a large number of files across a lot quicker and less painful timewise.

The retractable usb connector is a nice little feature, and helps against any possible damage. The weight of this is incredibily light, and feels like im holding nothing when in my hand. A nice orange glow appears from the flashdrive when it is connected, so you can clearly see it in use.

This flashdive comes with software called U3, which mean you are able to install and run programs directly off the drive. This is a handy feature if you use particular programs and you use another computer which doesnt have it, if you had it installed on your flashdrive you could use it anywhere. Having 16gbs also helps as there is plenty of space for extra programs.

Overall a great buy, and recommended.

Important Advice - 10 things you should know!
If you wish to use the SanDisk CruzerSync software to store and synchronise your data, there are a few things you should know:

1) The drive is formatted as FAT32 and has two partitions. The first is for the U3 system and is only 6.6Mb. The second is the storage area and starts off as just under 15GB approx.

2) If you wish to use the CruzerSync software to keep your data synchronised and encrypted, do NOT manually copy and paste items on to the storage partition of the drive yourself using Windows Explorer! If you do, manually copied items will not be encrypted or synchronised - UNLESS you add the storage partition to your "profile"! But adding the storage partition of your drive to your "profile" as well as selecting those folders from your computer will result in those files being copied twice - and will therefore use double the disk space on your USB drive!

3) Instead start up CruzerSync and set up your "profile", selecting all the folders you want it to keep synchronised and it will encrypt them and copy them all over onto the storage partition of the drive.

4) But do select your folders VERY CAREFULLY using the Adavanced Option when setting up your profile in CruzerSync! If not, it will attempt to copy ALL your personal files and folders from your computer onto the drive! Also, if you just leave the tick against Documents, it will copy over everything - including the contents of the recycle bin!

5) You do NOT need to select your "favourites" folder as the CruzerSync picks this up automatically - wherever it may be stored on your computer.

6) But only Outlook works seamlessly with CruzerSync. So if you use Outlook Express or Windows Mail, you will have to navigate to and add your Contacts folder to your "profile" manually.

7) BUT CruzerSync will NOT automatically add and synchronise any new sub-folders you add to any main folder you have selected in your "profile". You must add them manually from the Options menu!

8) Nor can you DELETE any folders from your Sync Options list once you have selected them in your "profile"! Just un-checking the folders in the Options list will NOT remove them from your synchronised items!

9) BUT *** WARNING *** Any items that you mark for deletion in CruzerSync WILL ALSO BE DELETED FROM THEIR ORIGINAL FOLDERS ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!
I discovered this to my cost and horror before realising that this would be the case - so I lost several files and since they do are NOT put into your main Recycle bin, there is no easy way to retrieve them!

10) Disk space on the STORAGE PARTIITON of the flash drive seems to be slowly eaten up every time you choose to start again (by Resetting the Data from the Tools menu)! This is because nothing you delete from a USB Flash drive is ever actually deleted. Old files are just hidden and will therefore still take up disk space even if you delete them! And the only way I can see to recover lost disk space is by formatting the STORAGE PARTITION of the drive and starting afresh.

Ok, OK. so it may no be ideal for D of E or long serious mountain treks, But for a weekend or festival there is nothing better. it takes about a minute for a 15 year old male ( and i never read instructions!)to set up. its suprisingly easy to pack up because of the hook and ring things that keep that tent in a neat circle. it has a 2000mm water proof spec, so it will do for rain, but it wont survive a huricane. and as for it not rolling up to go in a rucksack, do you really want a festival tent for expeditions...if so you really dont have any idea on what your buying.

Not waterproof but it is pop up
Although I don't like this tent myself as it is not water proof I have to comment on some of the points other reviews have made.
First of all I think it is guaranteed that you take at leaxt one berth away from every single tent you buy, this is general knowledge i'm sure. Even if you buy a 4 men tent it will never have enough room for 4 normal sized people (esp not with any room for anything else).
Like I said above, the lack of waterproofing, i've just come home from glastonbury and ended up getting drops of water every second from the roof, and that was just from dew! When it came to the thunderstorms it was practically unlivable.
Finally another thing someone else has said is that the tent is not pop up because 'you have to peg it to the ground'. I'm not sure if you have gone camping before but i assure you that whatever tent you get you will want to peg it down! It's pop up because you dont have to mess about with poles etc.
Thinking about it I would much rather have the pain of putting poles in and erecting an inner skin and having a dry night sleep rather than having drops of water fall on me.

After ordering this tent I was a little worried thinkin that it wouldnt be waterproof enough if there was a major downpour an i had made a mistake. After setting it up, which was unbelievably easy!! (It literally just pops up then peg it down! Its brilliant an so easy, even for the girliest of girls to put up.) Its just enough room for a single airbed and when the downpour came (which lets face it, this is England, the downpour always comes!) I was amazed by how warm and dry the tent was!! It blocked out pretty much all the wind with its sleek shape and didn't let a drop of rain in! It is a little awkward that it packs up into a large flat pancake shape, but it just adds to the fun of the tent. It is a truly brilliant little tent, great for festivals or a fun weekend camping trips :) All doubts I originally had were well and truly dispelled and was absolutely amazed by it! A very good and highly recommended purchase!!!

this is the first tent ive ever bought took it on the back of my motorbike which it fitted nicely, set it up very easy had rain in the night with heavy winds. The tent was bone dry inside and no sign of any condesation. I am very pleased with the eiger 3 and putting it away into the bag was not a big squeeze. For it to survive lakeside rain its got to be good !!

Get out there!
A really good tent for a very good price. (£20 on sale at time of writing.) I am not a frequent camper and this is an ideal small tent, lightweight and compact when packed away, but roomy enough for 2 as it's a 3 person tent. It is easy to assemble and erect, although it does neglect to mention that as well as tying the outer sheet to the poles at the top you can tie them half way down the poles at the side as well - handy when windy. The instructions are printed on fabric that is sewn into the inside of the carry bag so can't be lost. I did laugh at the last instruction that included looking at a non-existent diagram but it isn't needed as this tent is very easy to put up. All in all recommended, although I woulddn't pay £35 for it. Good weatherproofing too!

Bought this tent to go away with some friends from work for a weekend. I really wanted a double skin tent as i didn't want to risk getting wet in the good old reliable British weather. For the money i thought it was a bargin compaired to whats out there for sell. Thought i would try it out in the garden first as i haven't been camping for quite a few years. Took only a few minutes to put up on my own only needing to glance at the instructions once (typical bloke). My son then decided that he wanted to sleep in it that night with a couple of his friends, oh and the dogs. Three kids and two dogs all fitted inside without any problem. Took it down the next morning and it all packed away easily back into the carry bag. For just over £30 i think its a top bit of kit and i just need to convince the wife to join me now.

Excellent Tent for the price
I bought this tent at over half it's RRP. After purchasing it I read some independant reviews where the majority indicated the hassle the tent was to pack away and in some cases remove out of its carry bag. When the tent arrived I could see why this was as the twister tent poles roll in the outer ring of the bag and when packed there is great pressure keeping the bag shape in place.

Anyway I gave it a go, located the end of the poles as you remove from the bag and the tent pops out (2 mins. The three semi-circle support rods pull apart to create the skeleton on the tent. You clip pin the these points in place, ensuring the ground sheet is attached (5 mins#. Then fix the remaing pegs and guy ropes around the tent in place #5 mins# Voila.

It's a great size for three and secures well in place, the sleeping and living area is split with the sleeping area having inner and outer cover. Excellent waterproof protection.

Finally to the packing away in the bag, after closing the door, removing the pegs and putting the three semi circle rods togeather, #5 mins# Ensure that the zip cover for the bag is out of the way #folded back#. Located the V shape in the bag where one side of the three pole locate to roll away, then roll the pegs around the bag like changing a bike tyre, It was so easy only a little strenght at the end was needed to put the final ends of the pegs in place #<5>

Great tent
I was really pleased with my tent which stood up to severe weather pretty well. The main problem is getting it in and out of the bag. I needed 2 strong men! It still isn't zipped up fully. Hopefully it will get easier with use.

I bought this tent in the half price offer and must say I'm very happy. As stated in other reviews the tent bag is an unusual circler shape but it's not a problem and I worry what type of car some are driving that won't fit it in :os A quick read of the instructions to see how the tent `twists' in and out of the bag is strongly recommended, but once you know how it works you can be finished putting it up in under 5 minutes! The storage space in the porch area is good and there's ample room for 2 or 3 good friends in the sleeping section. Putting away takes a little man power but again is super quick and easy. Over all I'm very impressed and at the sale price it seems a bargin!

Not a bad buy
When I bought this tent I was really worried, I read the reviews (the first 2 with only one star) and wasn't 100% sure if I should get the tent.

Im not a huge fan of tents, I enjoy camping but theres nothing worse than having to take down a tent after sleeping on the floor for a number of days. I read a few more sites and they seemed fairly positive so decided to take the plunge and buy it. Im soooo glad I did! It's such an awesome tent! I just can't understand how people could only give it one star... Most tents will collect condensation on the inside and unless you have a canvas roof tents are usually not 100% water proof.

Only problem I have with the tent is that it does not have a canvas bottom, the material is the same as the actual tent so if theres a tropical storm with a days worth of rain u may get a tad wet... Iv never used a tent with a base like this before so am not sure what to expect but I doubt it could be that bad. Might just get a sheet of canvas for emergencies though.

It's literally a case of throwing the tent into the air and it pitches itself, taking the tent down takes a bit of practice but once uv got the hang of folding it back it takes a few seconds.

If your the same as me I would defo go for one of these, seriously for the price it's totally worth it!

I think the other 2 people have been a little overzelous with they rating.

I bought this tent for my trip to Rock Am Ring this year, and i had hardly any problems with it. i used it for 3 night and on the first night it poured down with rain, i was expecting to come back to a flooded tent, onlyto be surprized that it wasn't. The only problem i had is that because the tent has no inner lining, every Morning i woke up to condession in the tent. But the tent soon driedup inside, The trick is to leave the door open a small bit.

Not the best tent in the world, its really 2 small for 2 people, unless they children or midgets. But for camping out for 3 nights it did its job.

Word of warning!

Make sure you practise putting the tent away or you'll spend ages trying figure out how to do it.

Don't Bother
I only gave this one star because there wasn't a zero star option. This is the worst tent I have ever had the misfortune to sleep in...so useless that I ended up sleeping in a friends tent while at a festival last year. A little advice to all of you considering this tent, Don't bother...get a bigger one that is waterproof or your festival experience could be a wash out!

Great value fast delivery
This is good value, although I didn't rate the game much, the BD is nice for free and an extra game was only £10, so I bought inFamous for a tenner!

Usual Amazon speedy delivery, so overall I'm pleased.

The PS3 itself is superb, I use it as a DLNA client so all my music, pics and films -xVid & DivX work great- are now streamed and upscaled to 1080p. It's not much more than a decent BD player anyway which is what I was going too buy until I did some research. So for me, this is like getting a premium console and media streaming system for free!

Great console. But is it a good deal?
You already know you want a PS3. It's a Blu-ray player that also does games and conntects to BBC iplayer for goodness sake, who wouldn't want one of those? So the only real question should be 'Is this the right bundle for me?'

For your cash you get a great console, a very average movie and a dreadful video game. A strange selection and no mistake.
But...at the moment this bundle is £10 cheaper on Amazon then a stand alone 80GB PS3, and I guess you could stick Terminator Salvation on ebay and put the money towards something decent.
For the rrp of £310 this is as daft as console bundles get.
Even if you are a MASSIVE terminator fan it's worth thinking twice before you commit £310 to this highly mixed bag (hint: rent Salvation instead, it's only short). Amazon have plenty of great games and Blu-ray movies for cheap, so get two of those instead.

Good shape, but uncomfortable
Ok - the bra gives you a good shape and firm support. However, on me the straps sat close to my neck which somehow makes the weight distribution uneven across your back. As I am quite large chested, this made it so uncomfortable that I could only wear this bra for a few hours at a time. It also comes quite high up your chest, so you can only really wear high necked tops with it.

I'm pleased
I searched for a while for a sleep bra which would give me the support I wanted. I have quite small boobs, and since learning of my pregnancy I have wanted to take good care of them!

I bought a sleep bra which sounded as if it gave good support (more so that a nursing bra). This bra absolutely lives up to that claim. It's a lovely soft material which has lycra to make it really stretchy. It's not difficult to get on, and it doesn't stretch too much to make it unsupportive. It really holds me in place.

I would say the shoulder straps are quite near the neck, but this doesn't really bother me. I'm not going to wear it at any other time than at night.

The only thing I would say is that I'm likely to need the next size up in a few months. I bought the small (I'm usually a 32C), and it's great for now and some growth, but if I put on a lot of weight I can imagine it not being quite so comfortable.

Comfortable and easier to put on and take off than I expected. A bit high necked though - can see it under say a T shirt.

Great machine!
My Dyson DC25 Animal has just arrived and within minutes I had it put together and had given it a trial on the sitting room rug. I was amazed. I had forgotten what the real colour of the rug is, and a good once over almost filled the dirt container! At least a cup of sand came out of the carpet and at least a whole dog moult, even though I had regularly vacuumed with my old machine. And I haven't even used the animal mini turbine head yet! I am delighted. The Dyson is so easy to use and the power is impressive. The machine has a heavier feel than I expected but that is probably necessary for it to sit down hard on the carpet, and it has a very solid feel. I have yet to try how it goes on the stairs but the wand is easy to use and it is great to have the extra tools on the machine in their little places - no more hunting from room to room to see where I last left the crevice tool! The dirt container doesn't seem to be very big but emptying it is a breeze, one click to release it from the machine and one click to deposit the dirt in bin or bag without getting your hands dirty - and no more having to stock up with bags. All in all it's a cracking machine and I think I'm going to be very happy with it.

Fantastic Product
I needed a new vauum cleaner and have a springer spaniel who does moult constantly. I also have 4 month old twins so cleaning ability and cleanliness were top of my list of priorities. I read the previous reviews and decided to order the DC25-Animal. It arrived the next day (great service)and was very easy to assemble. I had hoovered yesterday so was not expecting to see much. Oh my goodness - I filled the collecting box with only the hall, dining room and sitting room. It made me feel quite queasy that all that hair and dust was there on what looked like a clean carpet. The machine is light, quiet, and easy to manoeuvre, with no doggy vacuum smells. Seemed expensive but I am so glad I went for this product.

Very Compact
After our DC04 gave up the ghost we decided to look around for a new vacuum - I like Dysons but my wife found the DC04 to be heavy and cumbersome. This new DC25 Animal is great - the same "Ball" concept as the DC15 but much more compact - not too tiny like the DC24 which would only be of use in a flat due to the tiny dust bin. The only downside with these latest Dysons is they have shorter power cables so you need to change socket for different rooms but that's just me being lazy. In short this is really powerful cleaner and with a 5 year guarantee should last a bit longer than the DC04.
